About Jhonae

Jhonae Caines is a licensed attorney and real estate agent in the Metro Atlanta area. She holds a J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Media & Communication Studies from Florida State University. Her career in Real Estate began in 2018 in apartment leasing, which sparked her interest in assisting not only renters, but homebuyers as well. While in law school, Jhonae interned with Invest Atlanta and at a Real Estate Attorney’s office, learning both Economic & Community Development, and the ins and outs of residential real estate transactions. After graduating law school, she served as a Compliance & Asset Management Specialist at Invest Atlanta. In this capacity, she managed Real Estate Owned assets, ensured regulatory compliance, and supported homeownership programs that provide vital downpayment assistance to first-time homebuyers. This experience has fueled her passion for community development and helping individuals achieve homeownership.

Jhonae has been active in the real estate industry for three years and has since founded a law firm, Dove & Shield, specializing in real estate closings, estate planning, and business law. This role has deepened her commitment to helping clients navigate their personal & business affairs to ultimately build generational wealth.

Jhonae is also committed to community service, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF). Through these organizations, she has helped build homes for those in need and provided legal assistance to individuals facing housing insecurity. Her dedication to assisting those experiencing homelessness and hardship in their current homes reflects a profound commitment to improving the lives of others and ensuring access to safe, affordable housing for all.
